Fireboy Bags Five Awards at 2021 Headies Awards (See Full List of Winners)

The 14th edition of the Headies award held on Sunday, February 21, 2021, with Nigerian singer Fireboy DML stealing the show by winning five award categories.

This year’s event was co-hosted by TV personality and actress Nancy Isime and comedian Bovi. The event was unique as it held in February as against December due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to the award ceremony, Fireboy DML led the list of nominations with nice nominations, followed by Davido and Wurld with seven nominations each.

This edition of Headies included the Songwriter of the year category.

Among the list of winners was Omah Lay who took home the “Next Rated” award.
