In a video Tinubu posted on his social media page on Sunday, he was seen on a treadmill in an attempt to debunk the rumours that he is unwell and unable to campaign for the presidential seat.
Tinubu captioned the video, saying, “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.Well… Nope.”
“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
The Rumours surfaced when Tinubu failed to be in attendance at last Thursday’s signing of the Peace Accord, Instead, he was represented by his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
The Peace Accord is a document meant to be signed by presidential candidates before the presidential elections.
However, Other major presidential candidates were present including Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
