The wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs Nonye Soludo says the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a grand symbol of the Easter feast, empowers God’s children with immense grace and renewed faith in divine salvation.
Mrs Soludo, who disclosed this in her message for the celebration, noted that by resurrecting on the third day, after his crucifixion and burial, Jesus Christ teaches humanity the essence of faith in God’s undying words.
She said that the event should also teach humanity the values of patience and prayers in the midst of worldly setbacks, explaining that even on the verge of death, Christ remained faithful to the promises of His Father.

The Governor’s wife further stated that the event opens up a large door of redemption for those waging war against the State, insisting that having made recompense for humanity’s sins on the cross of Calvary, Jesus Christ has availed everyone an equal unconditional opportunity to grace and spiritual cleanliness.
While wishing everyone, especially Anambra women, a beautiful Easter celebration, Mrs Soludo asked them to continue presenting the State and the governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo to God in all their prayers, knowing that the journey to a livable and prosperous Anambra State cannot come without collective prayers too.
