President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the tenure of Mohammed Adamu as the Inspector-General of Police for three months, the Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammad Dingyadi has disclosed.
Dingyadi said this in an interview with State correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday.
The Minister said the extension was informed by the need to pave way for proper selection of a successor.
