Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has appointed former legislator, Dino Melaye and Dr. Daniel Bwala as his spokespersons ahead of the 2023 presidential campaign.
Paul Ibe, Media Adviser to Atiku, disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday, noting that the appointment takes effect immediately.

The PDP presidential flagbearer also announced the appointment of Ms. Lynne Bassey as Special Assistant on Gender Issues and Women Advancement. Her appointment was effective from August 1, 2022.
Atiku also announced new additions to his media team for the presidential campaign. Among the appointees are Eta Uso, Abdulrashhed Shehu and Demola Olanrewaju.
Recall that Melaye represented his constituency, Kogi West, at the 8th Senate. He lost the PDP senatorial primary in his state.
Bwala, born in Adamawa State, was a former stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who decamped to the PDP last week. He is a lawyer, politician and public affairs analyst.
